
Elaine Jee
Jee Elaine is currently the HOD/Curriculum at Lakeside Primary School, Singapore, driving curriculum leadership and differentiated instruction efforts for student talent development. An avid user of educational technology, Elaine previously served as a Senior Educational Technology Officer in the Ministry of Education, Singapore, where she spearheaded classroom research on ICT-enabled pedagogies, including critical new-media literacy education, digital storytelling, and automated marking tools. With a deep proficiency in ICT and emerging technologies, Elaine is at the forefront of integrating Artificial Intelligence into the classroom. Her recent work focuses on "pedAIgogies"—leveraging generative AI to transform English Language instruction. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences, such as the RELC International Conference 2024 when she shared insights on aligning the use of Augmented Reality with the desired outcomes of EdTech Masterplan 2030.
As an active contributor in various networked learning communities, Elaine also facilitates collaborative inquiry among local and/or international educators, bridging advanced technological applications with evidence-based teaching strategies. Her commitment to mentoring ensures that teachers are equipped with the future-ready competencies to navigate the evolving digital landscape while maintaining a student-centric approach to learning.
